The journey is the reward

The Journey is the reward.

The journey is the reward

“It is better to travel hopefully than to arrive.”

“There are two tragedies in life. One is not to get your heart’s desire; the other one is to get it.”

“The gold at the bottom of the rainbow is not the point, the rainbow is the point.”

Taoism, China, Japan, Oscar Wilde, Bernard Shaw or children’s stories… “the journey is the reward” is a common theme to remind us of the importance of what is, of the journey.

It is not the result but the journey that makes us grow, stretch, learn, fine tune our senses, experience what is around us, choose a path, turn round when reaching a dead end, choose another path, rest and acknowledge the change in the landscape.…
