Walking offers multiple physical health, wellbeing and cognitive benefits. From oxygen fuelling positive moods and creativity to strengthening muscles, increasing vitality, and providing a space to reflect and wonder.
Walking in nature, in particular, can reduce stress, anxiety, low mood and boost our immune system.
I created Autumn Walks to enrich the experience of individuals engaged in self-coaching and personal growth.
Autumn Walks is for you if you’re interested in personal development, (self)leadership, or if you’re seeking a gentle challenge to (re)connect with yourself, walking, or nature.
Autumn Walks is a self-paced self-coaching tool. There are 6 Autumn Walks in total.
Each Autumn Walk is centred around an autumn theme and includes:
- Questions to reflect on during your walk,
- An activity to engage in while walking,
- A journaling exercise to complete afterward.
On each Walk Day, I invite you to:
- Read the day’s prompts (5 minutes),
- Take a 30–40-minute walk outside (or longer if you can!), incorporating the activity,
- Journal for 15-20 minutes after your walk.
